As points of departure in my practice, I use thematics which are characterized by repetitive patterns and internal, invisible tensions. I am particularly interested in the distinction between the inner and the outer tempo of things. This duality is also evident in my artistic process. While I perceive things strongly through unconscious processes, I automatically find conflicts and patterns in everything, creating unsolicited and possibly subjective, vicious circles.

My current art-based practice deals with the issues of memory process and the relation between the senses of personal and communal identity.The concept of dystopia is also crucial to my current practice. My interest on the lack of synchrony in our actions as constituents of a system and in the way we perceive the city we live in, led me to explore how different ethnic communities perceive and experience their personal and communal sense of identity and the related dynamics aroused. The contradiction between physical and emotional weight and its dictation of a personal, esoteric pace is also part of my project and closely related to my previous artwork.
